Due to a lack of power at Pacolet Elementary School, we will be dismissing early today at 10:30 am. This applies to all students. There is no emergency and all students are safe. Thank you for your understanding.
If you attended our Literacy and Fine Arts Night last week, please take a minute to fill out this survey. If you complete it by Friday your child will get a little treat!

Next week our students will have the opportunity to listen to a variety of speakers come in to talk about their careers and we invite all students to dress up as their career of choice next Friday, March 13th.

We are so excited to celebrating random acts of kindness week starting Monday!! We have a lot of fun things planned during the week to help teach our students about the importance of spreading kindness.

Congratulations to Sarah Burnett for being our second semester Pacolet Elementary Teacher Spotlight winner from Teacher Forum with Spartanburg County School District 3! She is an amazing teacher who's compassion and dedication shines through her work with the 3rd-5th grade students in special education! She builds strong relationships and advocates fiercely for her students. She creates a classroom environment where each student feels loved and welcome. We are so lucky to have her as a member of the PES family!

Four District Three teachers had the honor of presenting today at the South Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics Fall Conference (SCCTM)!
Mrs. Ivy Garner and Mrs. Ashlyn Taylor of Pacolet Elementary School shared their work on success criteria, while Mrs. Wanda Noblin and Mrs. Ashley Moore of Cowpens Elementary School highlighted the new math standards on probability.
We are proud of these exceptional educators, who were selected by the SCCTM committee to present at this statewide event.
